About PixelChart
PixelChart is a small collection of free tools for people who work in pixels: pixel artists, Minecraft builders and game developers. There are 13 of them so far, and more get added as the gaps become obvious.
Why the tools work the way they do
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. That is not a technical detail, it is the whole design: there is no server to upload to, so there is no queue, no file size negotiation and nothing of yours sitting on someone else’s disk. It also means the tools keep working on a bad connection, and that we could not look at your images even if we wanted to.
There are no accounts, no watermarks and no export limits. Your settings live in the page address, so a link is enough to save a result or hand it to someone else.
What we try to get right
The numbers a tool shows you are the numbers you will actually place. Block counts come out of the same engine that draws the chart rather than being typed into a table, the material lists are in stacks of 64 because that is how you carry them, and the loom steps are in the order the game expects. When something is an approximation — the ambient occlusion maps, the banner pattern shapes — the page says so instead of pretending otherwise.
